This policy explains what personal data Acquirable Ltd collects, why, and how it is used. We collect only what we need and will never sell your data to third parties.

We are the data controller for the personal data we collect through this website and our assessment tools. We take our obligations under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 seriously.
2. What personal data we collect
When you use our website or complete our assessment tools, we may collect the following:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your responses to our scorecard and baseline assessment questionnaires, which may include commercially sensitive information about your business
We do not collect payment card details, government identification, or special category personal data as defined under UK GDPR.
3. Why we collect your data and our lawful basis
Assessment and scorecard responses
Purpose: To provide you with an acquisition readiness assessment and any associated report or follow-up.
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests. We have a legitimate interest in processing your responses to deliver the service you have requested, and this processing does not override your rights and interests.
Email address and name
Purpose: To send you your assessment results, relevant educational content, and information about Acquirable services you may find useful.
Lawful basis: Consent. You give consent by completing our opt-in form and confirming via the double opt-in email we send you. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing using the link in any email we send you.
4. How long we keep your data
We retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
- Email subscribers: We hold your data for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we will delete your data within 30 days.
- Assessment responses: We retain responses for 24 months from the date of completion, or from the date of your last interaction with us, whichever is later. After this period, we delete them securely.
You may request deletion of your data at any time. See Section 7 for how to exercise your rights.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We use the following third-party service providers to operate our platform. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement:

Tally
We may also disclose your data where required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Acquirable Ltd, our users, or others.
6. International data transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including:
- Transfers to the United States via Kit, covered by the UK-US Data Bridge adequacy decision.
- Transfers to the EU via Tally, covered by the UK's adequacy decision in respect of the European Economic Area.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure: You can ask us to delete your personal data, subject to certain conditions.
- Right to restrict processing: You can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability: You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object: You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Rights related to automated decision-making: We do not make solely automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
